As an acknowledged expert in reconstructive surgery, Mr Lamberty is regularly called upon to offer expert opinion. The bulk of his medico-legal work is concerned with writing reports on behalf of victims of industrial or other accidents, although he is often called upon to offer his opinion on the surgical care of patients who have undergone breast surgery or flap reconstruction.
